UPDATE: 04/03
Been a month to the day since the car came off the road to have the new engine put in.
It's now firing on all cylinders. Yeees!!
The worlds wettest day ever didn't help, I've been soaked since 10am. Started off down the scrapyard looking for a new DISpac to aquire, couldn't find one so went back home and thought a bit. Phoned my mate to bring round Nova, but he'd lost his keys. Started it up and let it run for about 5 minutes to try and get the temp gauge working - doesn't. I have a vid of this, at the time it was running on 2 cylinders and popping and banging like fuck.
Anyways, after running the bumper over we moved the car out and had a look... decided it was too wet and put it back in the garage
Test Nova turned up and got left with us
Took the DISpac over and had a look... Fitted it and no differnce. Then did the same to the leads. Every time we did something we tested the cars. Last thing we changed for the hell of it really. The ignition coil. Changed it and test nova runs like shit, and the Corsa goes mental
Sorted
Next jobs are the Alternator (Still trying to break free through the Chassis leg). And a dodgy wheel bearing.
Then put it back together!
Can't wait.
