Its a pain in the arse! There are some little bits we have missed, but luckily they are not seen!
I think its a good job though, considering my dad is an AA man, not a paint sprayer!

UPDATE: 7th June 2007
Well, its been a while now since I last updated, I said it would be sprayed on the 4th, and it is!! At last. So I can now really get into the rebuild process now. So here's some pics.
My new Hockly engine mount arrived so did the modifications to the chassis leg and fitted it to make sure everything was ok:
Sill kits arrived from O'Gorman Fabrication for my side mounted axle stands so got them welded in and prepped for spraying:
Cut out the inner of my other door and removed the strengthening bars:
Started putting bits back into the car:
Before spending over 10 hours in the workshop on Sunday, preparing the car for paint!!
Then Monday morning came, and the paint went on. Good ole Flame Red, the Orange I originally intended for just wasn't for me really!
So now time for the rebuild. Just need to spray the bumpers red, and the inside of the doors, bonnet and bootlid white then that'll be it! Oh, and the engine bay.

UPDATE: 11th June '07
Worked in the workshop all afternoon and evening yesterday and managed to get some more bits and bobs in the car and some more stuff made!
First job was to get the fuel pumps cleaned up and mounted:
Then trial fitted the bootlid to see what it'd look like:
Then re-installed the hydraulic handbrake, cleaned and fitted the gearstick mech, ECU and steering column:
Found a place for my new washer bottle to sit and mounted that:
Re-fitted the door seals and boot seal:
Rubbed down and primed the handbrake as it had decided to go a nice 'rusty' colour!
Fitted the rear shocks and re-fitted the fuel filler neck, would of fitted the rear beam buts its still at the powder coaters!!
Then moved on to making my dash panel from a plain sheet of aluminium:
And before I left, got the gloss black on the handbrake:
And primed the dash panel:
And a pic of my lovely storage shed!!
