well this week ive started on my brakes and removed all the lines and ran all new ones inside the car
the shitty rear balance jobby went. so started from the master cylinder ran equal lengthes to left and right fronts. then back is going to bias valve then i branched off equal lengths to rears
i fitted my new brakes too some nice 308 pics coming soon of the difference

deffinatly for pv. hopefully itll be back on the road for weekend . i wanted it to be gleaming though. its had alot of shit over winter on the paint so summat needs doing about it

haha cheers fellas i came up to corsasport stand but dint have a clue who you all were n felt a little under weather with the heat and dodgy burgers from the nite before. it ran a 13.6 at 104 mph on first attempt then 14s on 2nd and 3rd. boged down a little in 2nd and felt like it was slipping clutch a little in 4th. got the buzz now though neds to be faster haha

so since ive lasted updated the thread ive baught a few goodies here they are
innovate lc-1 wideband lambda sensor with g2 gauge, only problem is that the gauge had to go back because it was the wrong colour supposed to be black but it was silver.
this lookes awsome its a fuelab adjustable fuel reg
and nice big actuater. this hould hold a bit of boost
also ive baught a new clutch because the old one is knackard. so ill be picking that up this weekend

todays job was fitting a new clutch so first job takin the gear box out
manage to find grease everywhere. 2 cv boots split so everything was coverd in shit.
looking at the old clutch no wonder it was knackard its worn down that much its started to rub against the arp flywheel bolts. the silver scoaring in the center of the pic below
new clutch this shouldnt slip
fitted
so tmorrows job set gears up clean everything and also im replacing oil pump seal think that might have gone

How has the friction plate been hitting the flywheel bolts? You sure your using the right pressure plate for the flat flywheel. Never seen flywheel bolts rub before..

theyre arp bolts so stick out more. most machine them to clear. kel's have obviously touched because the friction plate has worn over time

Didnt notice that it had arp bolts... The joys of a LET I suppose. Dont know if I couyld give up the hassle free running of an XE to have a LET..
