Easy, CBA with a picture though.

Straight line accross the bottom.

then from the top point, come down at an angle, 4 down, 8 accross, the do it again, then the same the other side and link all the points up with crosses.

Job done.

lol i cant get it above 44 did you modify the first bit or second

I have got the first bit down from 7 to 6 pieces and can still take 70 plus but the second bit stops me!

I modified both

I got the first bit down to 5 pieces, then moved stuff around in the second, I'll do it again and post a pic

This failed at 57500 (I think), the first bit couldn't cope after that -



I'm sure there's room for improvement there too.
