Why would I take pics anyways, I don't like taking pictures as my phone is crap and I can't see the point of doing it.

yes mate, it has, and iirc it cost the guy over 10k to get it done, and the gains from an mi engine are not worth even half of that cost

Too right.
I have to pay 450 quid excess becuase I have a modified car policy, on a shit box diesel that is mainly 306 parts but off a different phase, why should I have to pay it and not you?

Insurance is a grey area that favours the insurer highly in a court of law, by law they could bum you for petty stuff such as side repeaters etc, I think its risking it a bit changing the wheels etc and not notifying them.

yeah seems like a rather stangr conversion as the 106 gti is goo anyway and quite tuneable.

He probally has, but he isn't on msn and i've never asked for pics of his old car, i'm just not interested tbh, I was just saying that he had mods on his car not declared and he crashed and they let him repair it as it was to them just a 16v engine.

BOLLOCKS

do you know what a mi16 engine is? and that it is quite a bit different to the gti engine, i presume this conversion was done on a gti?

side repeaters claimed. headlights and rear lights claimed. front bumper modified claimed, carbon bonnet claimed, stripped interior claimed, bucket seats claimed etc etc etc. i filled out a form. and to be honest its the engine that makes my premium so high, not the exterior mods.

A Mi16 engine is from a Pug 406 I might add, and my mate is a nob, he now owns a Scooby and has crashed it twice, in my opinion he shouldn't have a license.
