As promised hers some pictures of the engine now

So far the engine has had :
Redtop pistons
headgasket
head bolts
inlet and exhaust manifold gasket
water pump
cam belt kit
auxillory belt
cts for the gauge
distributor cap
rotory arm
cam seal
Leads
spark plugs
oil filter

probley more but cant remember them all.

todays work was mainly toms doing as he can weld.

instead of buying a mount we decided to make one up, managed to source some metal. Took his mount off his car and used it as a template. Cut it out then it was welding time. heres the outcome

cant wait for it to be finished now.

Yeah alis done a good job as supervisor, hahaha, i need to pimp ali out so we can get the rest of the bits,

Things left to get :

Fuel pump
Shafts and joints
Leads
Cambelt tensioner
Aux(accessorie) belt
Air flow meter

Things to do:

Put engine in obviously
Modify gear linkage
Modify(spacer) Rear mount
Modify exhaust
Time the engine up

So all easily done in the next month or so, it all depends on ali tho, so far its all gone successful and straight forward.

im game for next month. left tom tonight having a play with his bright on idea on something a template for the gear box spacer has been made up.

tomorows work. cam belt kit on time it up. put the cover on then auxillary belt on. then the engine side of it all is done its just sourcing all the other bits which is easy enough

I think its because you secretly had him slaving over you car... colour coding it, cleaning it, fetching your wheels, and fitting everything,.... just let him go Tom let him get on with his life and his car!
