Said on the news that they had a backup screen though but a minority of fans were already out of control. Mind you, the back up was probably a 14'' TV/DVD combo.

I was in the Fan Zone at Piccadilly last night when it all kicked off, fair enough people were pissed off but to react in the way they did was totally out of order.
Police didn't help matters by coming out heavy handed in riot gear, think that just escolated the situation, especially when they were just twatting random folk with battons for no real reason apart from being stood at the side of the road. I myself got hit twice, once when I was trying to help a girl up from the road while bottles were raining down on her 
I've been away with England & seen it kick off a few times, but never on a scale, or lenght like that. If that would have been an English club, i'd be betting we'd be banned from Europe, be interesting to see what, if anything happens with Rangers.

There were more than a few rangers fans causing problems and i've stated numerous times i feel sorry for the genuine one's that have to bear the brunt of their idiotic elements actions.

There was always going to be riots after the game. I'd been saying to people at work long before the game started.
Watched the videos on the BBC and they're disgraceful tbh. Not only do they make themselves look like idiots, but football fans in general.
The videos show just how many were rioting. Lets just hope they get into beef for what they've done.

piccadily was a fucking shambles so many neds pished out of their face it was unbelievable, thats where all the trouble was around
danny p is spot on though the reaction was totally out of order you could sense people where there actually wanting an excuse to go off
just thankful it was largely contained to piccadily. i spent most of the day at the stadium mixing with some extremely hot russian birds who where brilliant
onto the game zenit deserved it they where the better team so cant grumble
all in all the actions of loonies will overshadow the fact that we took nearly 200,000 fans to a european final and most behaved
