was it a cheap conversion to do, do you have to get aftermarket mounts or are the x14xe and x16xe mounts good for the conversion

If you do that you'll have to plate the EGR valve hole up.. Personally I woudlnt bother i'd just get a Z18XE manifold.

the only reason im planning on doing this is more clearance and no custom exhaust is needed

you cant fit a x16xe manifold (exhasut) without fitting a x16xe sump which for your conversion isnt worth the hassle
no custom exhaust is needed tbh
just get the standard one welded into the standard system
i will be doing the same as you, battery in boot, and using a corsa c coolant bottle!
what throttle cable did you use in the end?

it is for mine, only because nobody makes a fancy manifold for the z18xe, only x16xe

not very, only have to mate it up to the standard system ofter the flexi pipe somewhere or even use a corsa c system

I used the standard system and the Vectra down pipe, chopped off the cat and used the bent that was left to fill in the space..
Tonight I fitted a 2 1/4" straight through system from the down pipe back.. When I get the manifold I'll make a new 2 1/4" down pipe.

Its not particularly well ballenced but its got to be better flowing that the standard cast manifold, the ports are most definitely better..
As for the FPR its just some CNC'ed FPR i bought on eBay

Well worth getting an adjustable FPR with a gauge
Nope didnt bid in the end
I still need to build an inlet and at some point I'll get some nice lumpy cams..
