Read my post just before yours as to why I think people are having a go.
Just joining up to advertise what is a poorly made forum is poor form tbh.

Ian started this in 97, most of you weren't born and there were very few, if any corsa forums.
I would rather lose by a mile because i built my own car, than win by an inch because someone else built it for me.

All these people getting worked up over someone trying to plug a forum they have made. But then I suppose when your only social community is a forum itself , then these really are the hard issues that you have to deal with in everyday life.
lol.

i doubt it, every1 in this thread will have clicked the link once and members from other vaux sites will have too.
bigdan on here made a site once, loads better than yours, more north east related and i dont think thats still going now
tbh you wont be able to make a decent forum, not near as good as this 1, and it is rude to join and try and steal ians members, stick around and see what a real site is like.

I honestly could not care. One forum is as good as the next to me. I look at the cars and ask for/try to give advice.
All the small chat/cool crews etc do not interest me in the slightest as life out of this chair is so much more interesting.
Try it.

Just a figure of speech haha, but really, using Ian as an example of jumping on the forum bandwagon is a pretty poor example!!

I love the way people think you cant have one without the other.
It is very possible to enjoy some banter online and have a life out of it, but if you are too stupid or incapable of realising this then not my problem.

I wouldnt of mind if he did use Ian as an exampe, as at least the site would look/work decent.

Im not saying you cant have banter online. Of course you can , as you are talking to like minded people.
What I am getting at is the fact that people are actually wasting their time arguing over such a trivial thing. I mean honestly is this banter ?
