Absolutely love reading Liverpool forums at the moment. The excuses are genius!

There's always next year, and say what you want about it taking ages to catch up -- the fact is, United did catch up so what does that say about Liverpool's performance? Whatever you say can be chucked right back at you regarding the PL count.

Surprised you aren't bored of Ipswich by now, havn't played in the top flight since 2001. Havn't won a major trophy since 1981, manager thats on the edge and another season where you couldn't even make the play offs. That to me would be boring. Might as well be a Reading supporter.

Excuses? I dont think many are posting excuses for not winning it tbh as I doubt anyone really expected us to. The only thing that can be said is we missed having a full season from both Gerrard and more so Torres, but thats hardly an excuse its fact.

Oh, and you're correct about us not being able to say anything about the league title count...still at least we can stick with the good old - 'United fans are all Southeners'

Nothing like supporting your local team.

I wasnt talking about you obviously, look who I replied to.

And its not an excuse at all, its a bastard but its part of winning the league having the players to cover should injuries happen. Thats the general thing being said on Liverpool forums and is the reason its not an excuse.
