I love this car really has inspired me to get another Corsa project on the go again.
I loved the slabs, then i really liked the speedlines, but now really like the cesaro's, and a red lip on them will look good too.
Looking forward to seeing the black bits

Go on lad, get another one!! I liked your green one!! Where is it now, you know??
Yeah, I'm trying to decide how to do the red lip this time, cause I've got too much money in them to paint it on as it's a rough way to do it really.
But rim tape makes the rims look tiny cause of the black rim, black tyre thing. Hmmm. What to do.
Just been to Vaux for rear mudflaps . Asked about new gsi skirts, l- pieces, and arches, but he said the only things they can get now are the skirts themselves, nothing else. And they were £123 for pair! F**k that!
Also, my mate blew up his x16 last night, and is XE'ing his, so I'm getting one of them VX inlet manifolds off him

Got these bad boys from Vauxhall today. £20, I actually thought they were more expensive than that! Looks alot better with rear flaps!
And I also got a rear arch refitted, just for now so it looks neater! Driver's side not on yet as I had to araldite a clip back on lol

Local lad still owns it, last I heard it was being repaired after he wrote it off, but its still in the same spot untouched when I last spotted it.
Rim tape not an option? have heard of people laquering over the tape before if thats an option?

Wish I knew where my old car was! , buy yours back lol
Nah, don't like the rim tape on them. Makes the wheels look smaller than they are, cause it hides the edge of the rim kinda, with it been a balck rim on black tyre. Hard to explain lol. Look in my garage, I put tape on my black speedlines and it made them look like they had massive profile tyres on. When they were 169/45s lol.

Well, I thought that now the arches were mint on the outside, I would sort out the insides of the arches!
Decided on red hammerite, as I can always go over it with black, but I think it looks cool!!! It's a near perfect colour match to flame red! haha
No before pics, I always forget! lol
Quick pic of the fronts, removed the arch linings and just treated any rust (weren't too bad tbh) then hammerited them the same.
Sorry for the car been so mucky! haha, haven't got round to it this week, tomorrows job!
Got the VX inlet off may mate, was full of oil from his engine going bang! Polished it up before I fit it, (Hopefully tomorrow!)
Also got a Dbilas top half of the engine cover, so I can keep the engine cover on. Painted the letters on the inlet black, just need to wait for it to dry and sand away the excess paint.
So hopefully another updat with inlet fit tomorrow, if not, Sunday . Watch this space! lol
C+C welcome, Cheers.

Well, after 9 hours yesterday, alot of swearing and sweating, me and my Dad finally got the inlet fitted!! Was a proper b*****d!
Polished it up abit more with autosol.
Also blanked off the EGR valve. The one with the hole is from Vauxhall, for an x16xel, as they didn't have any for the x14xe. So we made one from aluminium but the eml keeps coming on, so if possible, I'm gonna change it to the Vauxhall one and see if it needs the one hole.
No during pics, as it was all too hectic! , but this is how the bay looks now!
Need to get an oil catch tank though I think. Got a rocker breather connected to the pipe that would usually go back into the air intake, but the car stinks of fumes now and then so need to sort that out!
And today, I gave her a damn good clean!! But forgot to take pics until it was nearly dark! Gave her the first t-cut, red t-cut, megs polish and megs wax since before winter!! was well overdue! Was worried that the new paint (which is lacquered wouldn't match after polishing the rest of the car but all was good!
Again, sorry for crap pics, was too dark for phone! Will get better ones tomorrow if it stays clean and dry!
And the front arches are off to be painted!
C+C welcome, cheers.

Have you left the EGR plugged in after blanking it?

Olsrey. Yeah we left in original position, and plugged in. It's either in need of the hole in the other blanking plate, or someone mentioned that the vacuum pipes could be wrong? Right or wrong? Cheers Connolly, wouldn't have been that neat if my Dad wasn't doing it lmao.
