I normally hate matt/satin black paint jobs but was coming around to the idea of it on the calibra if done rite.
But now

Was really looking forward to seeing this done and enjoyed following the progress!
But now. You've killed it
Should have just stuck with the matt black.

Not keen
And I'm sorry but I can't see that a car painted with a roller and brush looks good in the metal either!

care to explain how!!?!!
1.its a calibra, not a corsa
2.its painted with a brush, not a proffesional paint job
3.its olive green, not nato green
4.its got a star on the side, not on the bonnet with 2 lines either side
5.its got a satin black bonnet, roof and boot, not all green
so your still saying its like jimmys....dont you just mean...the colour and star REMIND you of jimmy's?
and if it does look like a poverty spec version IT SHOULD! jimmy spent thousands on his old van...i have spent £25-£30 so far on everything!
or do you mean its llike jimmys old van because its a vauxhall!
brad
p.s thanks to everyone for the comments....maybe i am a bit mad for doing it but why not...the cars not worth spending money on! i am doing it as cheap as possible and if it shows, then it should! lol
i know that some of you may think that the satin black looked better but i personally think the green is better so thats what im sticking with
