Not sure, needs it though.

I think coilovers is the only real solution. Not sure if regular lowering springs will work well while it weighs less.

There's a guy selling some on Pumapeople, see what he says.

Yeah coilovers would be the better choice, considering what it's sole use will be. I still think the wheels should be a lairy colour though

Looking good.

I would rather lose by a mile because i built my own car, than win by an inch because someone else built it for me.

Or not.

The guy sent me a message saying he bought them from Pumaspeed for £500 a week ago, but in his project thread he says he got them second hand last month off another forum.

I've replied asking him which it is and now he's ignoring me

Might just say I don't mind which, just don't bullshit me.

As if wiring hundreds of pounds wasn't worrying enough, without people pulling stunts like that.

Might locate a CS member to do the deal for me

Biggest problem with mine Mark is that it's mega high because it's lost a lot of weight. 40mm springs probably wouldn't bring it down much.

They wouldn't fit a Fiesta.

Just look for another set IMO, guy sounds like a messer. But coilovers are definetly the way to go. Springs aren't the way to go on something that's sole us it to be abused around a track.

And cheers for the info on the tyres.

Clutch is in stock now, yes.

If springs do the job then that is the cheaper option.
