Not a pre-season friendly but Carlos Vela inspired Mexico to a 5-0 thrashing of the US in the Concacaf Gold Cup final last night Scored one and set up 3 others IIRC, looked in stunning form apparently

we drew 1-1 with the mls all stars last night, saha scored in normal time, we won 4-3 on penalties, howard saved 3 penalties including one from freddie ljungberg, howard named mvp of game
