James May put it the best by saying something along the lines of "Here I am doing 60mph and the lazy bugger is just idling in 6th gear".

Engine is dropped in, started straight away and the bloke nails off full pelt

No, no, no... Running in should involve giving it death, that way if anything is going to go wrong it will go wrong while its still under warrenty!

Well done Steve She's so cool mate. Did you take a loan out or had you saved up?
You must be absolutely chuffed to atoms.
Welcome to the V8 RWD club mate.
I can't believe the fuel economy you're getting. You can't be driving it right.
So when is she getting the thundercats themed respray?

I have asked around on the VXR8 owners forum and running in necessary on these cars. meant to take it easy and not about 70mph for around 600miles to sort the rear diff etc.
Im doing this through finance, dropped a good chunk down as deposit so payments arent too silly.
Am very pleased with it. All the peeps at work love it
wont have any thundercats stuff on this time

Ignore owners clubs, if they are anything like sites like Scoobynet and Autobahnstormers they are full of people with Acute-Paranoia
