Why wasn't Gomez sent off if it was a penalty? He prevented a goal scoring oppertunity in the box.

Spurs looked bloody good I thought.....hard for me to say that being a Gooner.
I'd say on that performance Spurs have as much chance as anyone of a top 4 finish.

hopefully this season they have changed but if previous years are anything to go by supporting spurs will be like having half a wank

Should of, and was a booking, how did he deny a goal-scoring opportunity? Johnson was going away from goal, with a packed box.
Liverpool looked awful though, Torres wasn't looking fit from 5 mins in when he took a knock, but as the commetary said, they are really lacking any depth at the moment.
And I kinda agree with Hoddle that Spurs have more strength in depth, might not be as good in quality but they did have more options on the bench than Liverpools kids

Nope, Liverpool will win nothing. Same for United.
Chelsea & Man City this year.

At least all the top 4 won this week,
Chelsea, Utd, Arsenal and City.

Well well well, would ahve taken this yesterday mornin!
Arsenal convincingly thrash a top team away from home, Utd and Chelsea struggle past relegation fodder and Liverpool deservedly beaten by a decent looking Spurs side
Spurs did well, theyll do well thsi season if they keep it up, altho that was deffo peno at the end there, although u cud argue that glen johnson had kicked the ball out of touch before gomes touched him Also as said, Liverpool have a very very thin lookign squad, Benayoun, Agger and Voronin as the only real options that didnt start today. Oh and aqualame, but he'll probs be injured most of the year

Grrrr.......blatent penalty tho!!! what was keeper doing! Johnson was going nowhere.
i dont think they shud be penaltys, he'd tapped the ball too hard and was going out of touch before gomes touched him... so why a peno. Always annoys me that tbh
