Looks nice actually, quite tempted by it. How does it sound? Not too loud and raspy?

Yeah, he's just told me his is a sportex. I didn't know whether it was or not, thought it might have been a magnex. If it sounds the same as his i reckon i'll be treating myself to one then

Well, got a nice coating of snow round here and the resulting day off work tempted me to go for a lil play in the snow. First time i've ever driven in snow and was quite fun, laughing at people getting stuck and stuff. Got a few pics too, so here goes the snowy pic whore-ing session .

Cant help but thing colour coding the part of the V grille that is usually chrome would be a nice touch.
Cars looking healthy, like the creams a lot. (Biased obviously)

I'm not reallly a fan of more door cars but these are different and i like them TBH.
yours and your brothers are nicely styled, and i think with your plans for the car it's going to turn out really well.
good luck with it mate

wooly: i'm not sure mate, i'll have a dig around in my pictures and see if i can find any
Archie: Yeah, that was the plan originally, to have the V bit rio verde and the slats on the grill black but my dad sprayed 'em the wrong way round. It's grown on me though
stantonio: cheers for the kind words fella, much appreciated. I'm glad people like what i'm doing
Little update too, thought i'd treat myself and ordered some ice. Got some new front speakers and an 8" active sub on the way. Why 8"? cos i wanna keep my boot kinda practical still and have some depth and bass with my music too . That's all for now i think. Hopefully some more updates soon.

Can I ask how you took your grill apart, beacuse i've had an idea, but, can't split the chrome and black bit!
Thanks, Ash

There's little clips all the way along the back of it. A small flat head screwdriver, some gentle persuasion and a lot of patience is what i used. Just gotta be careful that you don't break the clips off the back of the chrome bit
