Contract is up in the summer, he has fallen out with management and they just want him off the wage bill as is a big earner there.

An amazing signing. Liverpool need someone like him. He's like Gerrard in the way he loves bombing forward and has a finish from long, or short range! 'pool have just lacked bite going forward with Torres and Gerrard doing it all themself.

I think he would if they bid and Barca didnt come in for him. Although I dont think that would happen as Barca really want him, so expect he'll end up there with Rooney.
