Had a few u2u's asking do i still have the corsa and what not
so thought a wee update with a few teasers of whats coming up wouldnt go a miss
The car was put off the road about october last year, the porsche wheels where sold and steele wheels where put on
i lost love for the project tbh and it sat in my garage for months getting the odd bit done now and then
interior all built back up and wee finishing touches done:
Replaced the momo centre badge with a porsche one:
Also ordered up some air suspension for it and bought some new wheels
air takes about 3-4 weeks to make as its all custom struts etc
once thats arrived and fitted, i will get it into the bodyshop and the arches rolled so it can sit as low as possible on the new wheels then a full respray will see it looking fresh
Also my friend owns a breakers yard and phoned me a few weeks ago to tell me he just took an orginal gsi corsa in and was i intrested in the engine.
ive always been told to redtop the car but its never intrested me a gsi engine always suits the car more i think i dont want lots of power i want a nice engine bay but with enough power to enjoy the car
so i went and had a look and listen it sounded spot on and ran well:
so i gave him the go ahead to take it out the car
the plan is to strip it and rebuild it painting everything while rebuilding it, i was going to smooth my engine bay .. chassis legs etc but the engine fills the bay so no point really so it will get a lick of paint so it looks mint along with the engine.
and thats about it really hopeing to have the car done for mod nats
advice,comments all welcome as per

few more wee updates:
finally got my wheels went with D90's as ive always loved them. couldnt find a set in the uk with the specs i wanted so got these from germany all freshley polished and painted:
backs where sitting spot on for the look im going for;
then got the tyres on them and stuck them on the car .. poking out the back and tucking up the front:
then the main part of the puzzle arrived, full air suspension kit with custom shorted struts etc etc
managed to get the fronts on as its pretty simple as you can see this is still on blocks of wood so will go a bit lower and lay frame up the front:
backs are a bit more of a pain cause of the suspension set up on corsa's so they will be getting welded on when its in the bodyshop then we can do the final wire up on them and having it sitting perfect.
updates should be a bit more frequent now as the air was the main thing holding me up
hope yous like all comments welcome as always

Lookin good on the 90's pal. Is that kit havair or rayvern? Also are you using your standard top mounts or did you get a set with the kit?

Went with Rayvern in the end as they could make me them quicker and where alot more helpful IMO .. It's using standard top mounts ... Cheers for the comments Appricated as always
