also theres a lot of badly abused cars out there...avoid cars from Japan that have beenm heavily modified as most are used as track cars and have had the nuts ragged out of them!

Would imagine 2000 models would be pretty rare. How much would you be looking to pay for a say 96/97 Turbo and could you maybe recommend any importers. Just one of my mates was considering one of these but he wanted to be sure he was getting a minter.

It was from a dealership but not toyota, just some place that does sporty jobs. Its done about 100K hence the price, its just going to be thrashed about until I get an S2000 next year.
The yellow one has 40K on the clock and is like new!! All cow, aircon everything...

Hi Guys, I know this is an old post, but i was just browsing while on the nightshift and thought i'd reply. Was quite interesting to read your opinions of the Zetec-S. I own a Zetec-S and am very pleased with it. As standard i found it to be surprisingly nippy considering the stats i've read on paper. Now i've never been in a corsa, nor have i ever yet been up against one so I cannot offer a comparison. But I will say this!, the ford stated 0 - 60 times of 10.2 seconds are somewhat understated. Personally i thank fords for that as it gave the car a nice low insurance group! .
Anyway's, i'm not here to argue, i like all cars, was just giving my opinion. By the way, mines tuned to 130bhp and its lots of fun! .

Your having a laugh right? Lol. How does 130bhp and 122 lb.ft of torque make a small hatch slow?. Thats like saying a 130bhp Corsa is still slow! .
Honestly guys i have nothing against your cars, why such hostility against fiesta's?.
