Got some more bad news yesterday, block is cracked in two places, which is why H.G went last time, and would go over and over again.

Getting more power will be a lot of money, Yes a let is a lot of money but if your taking a XE this far, The money would be better spent on a LET that will do 400bhp, rather than top out at 200bhp.

big power lets are shite, doesnt matter how much you spend on tyres, suspension, tracking, etc, a decent xe would be quicker on the track and alot more useable in any weather, as keep saying i know lads who have spend thousands on there lets and ended up going back to xes, more fun, less problems.

So do I, I'm sure you know Paul who had the Yellow nova turbo, He went back to a XE in his new shell (that used to be mine ) He says the XE handles much better but does miss the power. His is TB'ed anyway.
I just cant Imagine spending loads on a XE. I'm not trying to change anybodies mind
Out of interest were is the block cracked?

ill get some pics of all the problem areas of the build, but its cracked between one water way and then cracked from a waterway to where the oil returns into the block.

Thanks Daryl, I've spent thousands just rebuilding the thing this year. Massive money Pitt. 7 months doing conversion, two months since last drove it bits between! I've driven it properly for about a month, doing no more than 500 miles this year :/
