Engine bay looks good. You didn't fancy going for some smoke side reps then?

Interesting...
Conditions were awful - very wet, very slippery and very cold. However, the car did very well, and managed to plough on regardless and get through the field quite well. I did learn that even the Quaife LSD can't completely get rid of Understeer & Torque steer, but in conditions with poor grip like this, I'll let it off...
The track dried out over the course of the day, but typically both of my sessions were in the morning, although my second session wasn't in rain, it felt more slippery than the first session in the downpour!
I got a fair few pictures, and also an On-Board video from my first session too;

How does it feel around the track in comparison to the Corsa?

- Strange to not be in Harnesses and able to to move around a bit
- Strange to be able to listen to the radio whilst waiting to go on...
- Quicker!
- Requires a bit more caution in the bends
Hard to really tell after taking it out in the wet though - if it was dry or less damp I'd have a better idea.

Which would you say you prefer on the track, or is it too soon to say? Even if it's slower surely the Corsa is a bit more raw and fun for a track compared to the cushiness of the Vectra?

Corsa was better. Could chuck it around and treat it like shit and it just took it without fuss.
Vectra is very good, but in different ways aswell as being a lot more Cushy as you say.

Haven't done much with this since Combe.
Went to Billing, churned up the ground a little...
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mfeLs41LJk4
Performed faultlessly, even fully loaded with 3 people's gear and club gear. Getting better economy from it now too!
Used the car for Billing, and then directly down to Newquay for a week, so got a good amount of mileage through it.
However, it now needs a little attention;
- Yellowstuff front pads fitted in November are almost shot, so require replacement
- Still haven't fitted full new rear brake setup
- Needs foglight surrounds repainting Black due to weathering and chipping/flaking of the previously rushed coating
- Still needs the Pre-Cat removal section fitment tried again
- Is due for Service imminently
- Needs a bloody good wash & polish too
Still, weather is back on side, so once I'm back in the UK, I should be able to get a few of these things done.

It didn't have much effect on cleaning it off...
It is still pretty quiet tbh, I'm going to get the exhaust system modified to remove some of the silencing, but just haven't had the time to get it done recently. Plus, thats more of a 'want' than a need if im totally honest.

Swapped out the Interior Lamps for LED Bulbs - it's ridiculously bright at night too. But is all good.
Have been using it this week, took it out over local routes with the Camera tonight;
Oh, and on my way back up a dead end lane I went down, I found the evidence of the LSD working well... haha
Got some bits to do once I get some time and weather to do so - repaint Fog surrounds, and paint rear Diffuser trim section

Nope.
After my speeding issue earlier this year, I'm not so desperate to get it mapped. It goes well enough for now...
