I have great admiration and respect for the continued success Mr Ferguson has achieved at a club the size of United.

This. I mean look at his achievements ffs. He has built championship winning teams, sold his best players, and rebuilt. To be able to do that time and time again shows his class.

Yeah Fergie has only got 37 trophies since he's been at United. I mean that only averages out at 1.48 trophies per year, EVERY year. Pathetic really.

Someone called Talksport today and said that Fergie was the typical unambitious Brit because he'd stayed at United and not tested himself abroad
I didn't catch the callers name, but could well of been Oliver Crowe

That's what the hosts said, they just laughed at the guy
He was at possibly the best supported club in the world, why would he want to leave.

i'd like to see if fergie could win a trophy at a club like west ham.
i sincerly doubt he could, unless given vast sums of money, but then that's just like man city then.

I'm not saying sad achievements aren't impressive, what I'm saying is a lot of you dismiss bobby robsons without actully analysing his achievements are at least in the same ball park if not just as impressive in more demanding inviroments

Nice touch them re-naming the north stand after him. His voice was going when he gave his speech after that. Got the whole cermony recorded, it was great to be there. Shame the game was so shit

thought it was a bit unsporting toward the opposition to do the speech and naming cermeony before the game tbh, would have been better saved for afterwards but a ncie touch renaming the stand

In your opinion. It isn't the most exciting, and it seems that teams are having to buy their success these days. Except United of course, but then they are leagues below the best team in the world.

I'm not saying the PL is shit btw Far from it. I fucking love watching the Super Sunday's. But the PL has slowly fallen off the perch since the highs of the Chelsea vs United CL final.
