Had an email first thing this morning with someone wanting to view it, it's not sold by any means but obviously there is interest if it's a legit buyer.
Great news - good luck. Only takes one buyer I suppose
By no means I am not trying to be clever or piss on anyone's bonfire (although most people on here think I do that) but I was merely basing it on experience
Good luck and I hope it works out

It's ok, I didn't take it that way. I know it will sell but don't see the harm in trying to get as much as possible. Especially as it seems there are many more that are older or done more miles at the same price.

I would wait 3 months for £1200 extra. I think it's only 2 months since he actually put it officially for sale though looking back through the thread.

I admit that i was wrong. Well done for selling it for that, i suppose if there isnt a rush to sell then it's worth putting a high price on and go from there

Yeah it's been a couple of months. Doesn't matter to me, didn't need the money right away and knew I'd get decent money. No point selling too cheap.
Sold it on auto trader on my dads advert but a private sale.

I think you'll find I was always reasonable about the price and said £7k was too dear but was there any harm trying?
Guy was chuffed as a puff with 2 arses. All good.
Also john was your u2u curiosity or were you hoping to gloat?

Why? Trade makes no difference, I wasn't trying to make money. My profit went 5 years ago when I paid £13k.
Wouldn't make a difference to the price whether you consider it trade or private.

well done for getting that sort of money for it joe, obviously you were in prime position as you weren't in a rush to sell, so didn't ned to price it low at the start.

no one will buy it if he prices it that high so he will probably give a shit. its a nice car but as he says showing its age now... id stick it on at £5k and be prepared to be haggled with
Also LOL at this absolute weapon
