The medals will come, there's still so much negativity surrounding the team despite the fact the games themselves have got off to a flyer but they will come good.

I'm not wanting us to fail but I think we are talking up our competitors way too much and putting too much pressure on them.

organizationally I think it has been a great success. yes there are been niggles here and there but when you look at the big picture they are not actually that big i.e. maybe 500 empty seats amongst a day session with a total of 100,000+? seats

Perfect example was one of the swimming events where the commentator kept saying how GB could get the bronze when we were in 4th and going backwards. Just accept we aren't getting the bronze and talk about those who are winning.

Ben Ainslie taken second in Finn class race 1; he's after his fourth consecutive Gold medal; I think he's in with a good shot at it as well off that result

Caught a bit of the sycnronised diving earlier, who would have thought it could be watchable

Surprised that the football wasn't reported on SS and BBC websites.
