I am no expert on this but brake performance is not all about pads surely
drilled is a load of balls, doesnt do anything except stand a chance of cracking round the holes.
grooved has minor advantages with removing pad glazing

why do some high performance/super car manufacturers fit drilled discs to their cars then?

Steve I feel you need more activities outside of the interwebz to keep you stimulated.
I also do not get this thread and all I have learnt from it is that EBC were apparantly shit 2 years ago but now have a new formula and are ok
The other 7 pages are just bickering.

The interweb says that
Grooved takes the glazing off the pad & Drilled aids cooling.
I have seen cheaper drilled discs crack so i tend to shy away from them.
