1.21 would be proper flying, i managed a 1.20 in my old astra but thats hard to do on a action day as you need a clear lap

and I bet that'll be clear laps... the hardest part of driving quickly around combe on an action day is constantly catching traffic, it's rare to have a clear lap.

agree i only passed 2 cars on my 1.20 lap 2 evo's iirc and even one of them managed to hold me up half a second on that lap, and that was just in one corner

i dont think thats the fastest he could run around there, my 1.20 was on a not very well set up car tbh it would not have been that hard to make up the 2 seconds with some more time in the seat and better brakes so im sure his is more like a 1.16 on a clear track

Don't know what that bend is called at just after 9:25 but you're taking perfect line imo, love the coupe, looks mint on track

Hmmm, he missed the apex by about a meter personally I'd say the quickest line is across the concrete on the inside... That's what I was aiming for anyway
Sorry just re read and I think your talking about the camera car and not the Coupe. My bad
A mate of mine timed Bo at a late 1:16 on one lap. But most laps we're 1:18's apparently

Mine on track before it died ;-(
I saw you ditch it up at Combe
How bad was it in the end? Terminal?
I got a couple of shots - understandably you didn't look too happy!
Love that first picture! Looks worse than it was tbh oil spat all over a hot exhaust, no flames but was hard to see so I emptied my extinguisher on it anyway
Looks to of either stripped the threads out of the steel rods or snapped the arp 2000's on cylinder one which then smashed a big hole in the block ;-( rebuild coming soon

Here you go just so you lot can stop spitting feathers about me making it up
im not suggesting its 100% what i did it just uses the phones gps and its only a cheapo free shitty app so who knows what happened, myother laps seemed to be more late 20's as i previously said
I do fancy getting some proper hardware though, what does novaneil have? that looks good, possibly get a go pro or something

Can you overlay the GPS trace on to a map? I have heard of phone's losing the GPS which only shows up when you see it on a map and it's cutting a corner or driving across the infield or something. Might give you a bit more of an idea of the accuracy of it for future usage.

Is that an actual full lap or a theoretical maximum? Because if you go barrelling in to a corner and one lap and go slow in fast out on the next, your two sectors will show a theoretical time that you're unlikely to achieve.
I'm very impressed if its genuine. I can't get under 1.26 in mine and that's over a good few laps really having a go. To go straight out and put in a 1.22 with the same power is remarkable.

overlay the GPS manually then...
Is it a simple X, Y, Z format? Any tools (in the app) to export to google earth for example

As I say, I can't find even half a second over 10s of laps. 4 with the same car is loads.
