To be honest it does look better in the flesh but all reds would be much better!

A friend of mine vinyl wraps so going to get him to have a play. He said he could try some red vinyl that you can see one way though which should let the reverse light out.

Ill have to see how it comes out

Reverse lights aren't an mot requirement, iirc? Just use an orange bulb for the indicator, itll be fine through the red lens

Not a fan of the lights myself.

I think all red would look pretty damn neat though

Cheers guys, Faz - no they aren't but would be nice to have a white reverse light so someone doesn't think I've but fogs/brakes on when I attempt to reverse.

Going to have a word with my mate see if he can sort me out some point this week

Bit of an update...

Taken it out quite a lot in the last couple of weeks! Been driving it every day and clocked up quite a bit of mileage considering it only gets used in the evenings

So here are a few photos of it out and about!

I also fitted some new mirrors to the speedo and new LED bulbs to give the dash a bit more light!

and fitted my headunit from the corsa to replace the shite radio and tape player

Then today I gave it a much needed clean!

Then took it to show my dad where I recieved a large knocking coming from the rear...

I think my Dad was happy to look at something other than a Vauxhall for once Got it on his drive and next thing I know he's got the jack out and got it up in the air!

He seemed like he genuinely enjoyed working on a car of mine for once

It seems like the Outer CV or Bearing has eaten itself as it is knocking A LOT from that area. So got it back home and will be taking that all apart during the week!

Cheers Nath A lot different Such a different car to drive, really rewarding to drive!

Probably not as quick but it does pretty well considering it's age. Much nicer place to be for sure

My old man bought one of these brand new and only sold it a few years ago, Not my cup of tea but can appreciate a nice motor when I see one.

Looks like a lovely tidy one, Enjoy it.

Long way off that! Sorting Mechanicals, then interior then paint then wheels and lowering

Decided I'd get it mint and attractive before I try and tart this one

Can't make it all look at me and come over and it's not the best it could be, I've done that with the corsa, this one will be a good standard example before it becomes all glammy! ... well that's the plan anyway

Good to see it's out and about now.

Really reminds me of my Cousin's '86 Mitsubishi Starion. Pop-up Headlight Retro Wedge goodness.

Such a cool car. Any plans to replace the number plates with fresher items?
