Will be interesting. Fergie was pretty much bombproof with the fans. New guy won't be. See how tolerant United fans are.

Re: poor cup haul

So much harder to win. Knockout style tournament where one mistake costs you everything. League is different. Besides. He's never taken cups that seriously. Even fielding reserves for CL games

It will be Jose, all this Chelsea talk has made united act quick. I'd prob want Ole over Moyes but I really can't see it being anyone other than Mourinho. Hopefully he will bring Ronaldo with him!

agreed, more just a passing comment when the fatcs were laid out. when you consider that wenger had won 3 fa cups inside 6 years (i think) it highlights that FA Cup has clearly never been a priority for Fergie

Big Mick. Managed at the highest level. Can handle idiots like Roy Keane. Players graft for him and over perform.

Only because he had grand designs on winning multiple leagues abroad. Which he has done.

IF he goes to United, after two years he'll leave and then manage a national team for the next 20 years imo.

Doesnt he need to buy himself out of his contract to the tune of £17m? Apparently chelsea talks fell down as Abramovich wasnt willing to pay that amount as he paid close to that to sack him last time.

Think thats what the geezer on SSN was saying this morning
