Previously used to just tap the home button until controls for the iPod came up. They do still come up when you double tap home button, just when you press them nothing happens.
Bring up control centre and all the controls are there for music.

Mines done the same. I'm downloading the 7.0.2 ispw then gonna boot my phone in DFU mode and do a manual update to the latest version, hopefully that'll work.

That does work. I sussed it out in the end. Just make sure u get the correct version for your device.
Doesn't need to be in dfu or recovery mode

Works fine on mine - worked with Control Centre active on Lock, and works as per the old system now since I've disabled Control Centre access when locked.

Every day this week when I've taken my phone off charge it says 100% then as soon as I unplug the cable it says 96%

Probably something along the lines of when the phone thinks its fully charged it shows 100% but when disconnected the battery is actually only 96% because its no longer capable of reaching a true 100% any more.
i.e. when charging its charged as much as it can.
Its catch 22 with these sort of code loops. If they code it to sit at 96% then you get people complaining that its not fully charging the battery

Found this list of iOS 7 tricks. Some were new to me, might be interesting for a few others as well.
Holding the + volume button, while in the Camera app, will activate burst shooting.
Isn't very fast on my 4, but does work.
While in the multitasking window you close apps by swiping up on the preview. You can close two or all three visible apps at once, by placing a finger on each.
In Settings > Phone you can set numbers to permanent ignore.
Swiping right to left in the Messages app will reveal sent/received time for each individual message.
Swiping left in the Compass app changes to Level.

On my iPhone 5, if I just keep my finger on the camera button as if I was taking a photo it does burst mode?

might be an odd question....
im trying to send a picture from my computer to my iphone. my computer is an imac, so phone being ios7 id assume i can send it on that air drop thing. computer can't find my phone, and phone cant find my computer. does that mean its not possible to actually bluetooth from my apple computer to my apple phone? if so thats completely ridiculous.

It couldn't be simpler, you can drag and drop the photo into your PhotoStream (From both OSX and Windows) or you can send yourself an iMessage...
What version of OSX are you running Nic? If you've not updated recently then you haven't got a hope in hell

OS X and iOS use different AirDrop protocols and are currently not interoperable.[1] AirDrop in OS X operates over Wi-Fi, whereas the iOS implementation utilizes both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.

latest version of os x.
i understand i could send it via iPhoto now yeah, i hadnt actually thought of that at the time! i did actually send myself an iMessage with the pic in. its basically a map i need for today that for some reason my phone couldnt load up.
first time ive ever wanted to send my phone a photo and it fairly did piss me off quite a lot.
