Well spent the day at courtenay sport on Monday, 11am till 4pm ish to get the map finished off. First run made 246bhp and 209ftlbs but was lean in places so began the email table tennis between Courtenay and Klassen in Germany until four tweeks later it was done 242bhp & 205ftlbs was mapped without the supertrap on so we checked it with it on and it improved the boost map in places due the the slight bit of extra back pressure. I've reduced the plates down to 12.
Few videos from the day

Got myself another cooling module, loom and GM CTS to try and cure my fan issue. Also bought some Han's device posts for my helmet and alap got a black one piece facia to replace my silver one
Also got myself a supercharger rebuild kit, just need to find some needle bearings in the UK as ZZP in USA have very steep postage costs

It's a bolt on or weld on additional tuneable silencer, mainly used on track cars to reduce decibel levels, I have it on as I don't like really loud exhausts so use it to keep the noise down.

Been doing some improvement mods, first up was the oil cap breather mod, they have a built in breather but I drilled it out to 13mm on bottom and 8mm on back, can blow though it a lot easier than standard
Then got rid of the crap silicone pipe for the brake vacuum, silicone can collapse under vacuum so modified the standard Astra one
And modified the vectra c intake pipe, had to make a few cuts and holes as bonnet catches hit it and tank vent valve now has to run through it and back to throttle bodie, quick blast with the airline and it works well and doesn't really blow out of the holes due to the flow nature of the pipe which is a bonus

More work done getting it ready for its trackday at bedford on Saturday, removed the tow bar and electrics as I haven't towed anything in years, 28kgs in total so a good weight saving. I then got round to making a new spring retainer as the last one had some how rusted out just on the drivers side
I then fitted the 270lb 2 1/4"id coilover springs onto the beam as I wanted a stiffer rear spring set up. Also fitted the white line rarb.
After a test drive car felt much more connected with noticeably less body roll.
I also topped up gearbox fluid, fitted the new CTS and cooling module but they haven't cured my cooling fan staying on issue so the search continues for answers to that, I will try the loom at some point but feel it may be something loom back to car?!

Final bit of track prep today, stripped all the crap out the inside
Final bit of weight saving
Fitted the wet wheels and tracked it up, I've set it at 0.5mm toe out and -3 degrees camber

Did you put the new bends in the servo pipe? If so, how? Just heat it up?

I haven't added any extra bends but you can hear it and bend it but just be careful not to pinch it

Final mod before the trackday was to change the silver facia, never liked it as it didn't match anything, i've swapped the radio and gauge holder holes as when the gauges were lower it was hard to see as they weren't anywhere near eye level, so now their higher it's a bit better.

Well Bedford was a successful shakedown for the Astra, engine performed well but did keep getting very hot, temps would quickly get up to 95-98 degrees, first lap generally a tyre and brake warm up, then probably 4-6 hot laps then a cool down lap. On the last session I got the power cut kick in and it drove rubbish so straight for a cool down lap.
Plan is to remove aircon as tbh I don't use it, and hole saw the bumper and crash bar behind the number plate which will allow much needed air flow to radiator as currently the only air flow is through the bumper grill via the charge cooler and aircon rad.
Handling was much improved but some Gaz gold coilovers will be getting purchased soon as current dampers are too soft.
And a couple of videos:

This one is verses a mate in his C20LET Astra. Power cut happens right at the end.
