C20 VX I just used gunk from Halfords works a treat.

Car loom will be passager leg under the wing and the engine loom will be the steering column. And vac pipe I haven't yet worked out lol.

No not this year. Will mabie next year. Gonna turbo this engine now instead of buy a c20let I think.

I've always wondered why people don't turbo xe's? Has to be a reason for it? Wouldn't mind it myself tbh if it's possible no point if your straying into let money doing it though..

Block and head are the same casting... you just need to drill and tap an oil return in the block for the turbo, the space is there for it. Also there is a grub screw where the oil feed connects up on the black so just remove that. Pistons are different compression, and cams are different. Also the obvious is the ECU which contains the map sensor for boost control.

If you were just planning on running a standard LET at standard power then it would be cheaper to buy a standard LET than rebuld an XE to a LET spec.

bloke on migweb called turbo gav put a turbo on his std xe in a combo van. ran spot on for years from what u can remember.
