bit filler tec started. taking time with it.
vxr-james arrived in his vxr with subaru owner type vxr clothing seen as he has a vxr and is called vxr james.
burger king followed by some extortionate halfords shopping later then some work ken tec.
bit clean up of areas to fill with some ken.
mix a bit of ken up with the ken spatula on a yokohama mixing board. specially flown in from japan. tis what race teams use for their rice rockets.
amazingly application skills for the ken. for tips and a mini tutorial please click below.....

now some removal of the ken
artistic ken removal money shot.
removing the ken while car is upside down. quite tricky. for a tutorial please click below..........

then stand back and admire.
then realse you may need to mix some more ken and apply tiny bits. more to follow tomorrow.

yes taken dints out etc from seat mount removal time. clean it up so looks a bit better before painting it instead of painting over some dints and marks etc.

yeah uploaded quite a few lately. hope to get some more next weekend at the local drag strip but i think everyone i know is running a car so not got a camera man. me and my mate slick are taking it in turns in mine, so perhaps while the other of us drives, the other can film i guess. maybe.
need to finish the filler and paint it inside first though. so best get on with some more of that tonight.

so back to sanding down the ken. got my finest 80 grit at the ready and went for a bit blast.
i mean im a novice at this. so its my first ever go with applying and sanding down some ken. its an annoying task. something i will forever make me think people in a bodyshop are beyond god.
so there are a couple places i havent put enough filler in. will apply a light skim to those areas tomorrow night and apply some to the front seat mount bits which have been chiseled some what extremely so will take a bit work. magic ken sauce, it does good things.
from a distance the areas of sanded down ken dont look that bad. there arent really any major high spots. one edge that annoyed me i finally got rid of. just the parts where i aint put enough on really.
so far, im satisfied and stressed out from doing it. oh yeah wished id masked up that frshly felt wrapped wiring loom. its a bit white now. oops.
thanks for reading.
