Right, watched Drive.

It's an ok film, shot well, I liked the soundtrack and his Patek Philippe.

What it isn't however, is a 10/10, it's got no amazing hidden deeper meaning, that suddenly brings it up from a 5/10.

Having a 'cool' opinion of it doesn't mean you aren't still in with the proletariat.

I have the soundtrack its fantastic.

I gave the film 9/10 because its the best thing ive seen in a long time. It doesnt have to have a deeper meaning, it doesnt have to have the most intricate story line in the world, it doesnt need to be about war or disabled kids to make you cry. It can just be something you enjoy?

A lot of elitest bollocks and anti elitest bollocks in this thread.

Cinema is entertainment. Nothing more.

That's exactly what it should be Jambo, if you enjoy it.

I can't imagine paul_j sitting there enjoying anything, he'll be formulating his next essay the whole way through.

Just download the soundtrack and imagine a guy with a nice watch and a pair of gloves sitting driving.

He does more talking than driving. Most scenes you see he barely speaks a word which actually makes you feel awkward.

I agree with all of the above, except 5/10 ... I would say 7/10 maybe 8/10 depending on the way the wind is blowing. I've NEVER said it was 10/10.

But that is exactly why I liked it, shot well, and the soundtrack was great.

I can imagine 1080p makes needing a story not as much important.

Grave encounters - 10/10

Not an original idea, but just a good jumpy film! Thouroughly enjoyed it.

can you not just accept the fact someone has a different opinion to you of a film?

I was actually agreeing with John's points and disagreeing with the overall opinion that everything thinks I gave it 10/10.

Excellent piece of cinematography and a cult classic was Paul_J's conclusion.

I can safely say it will not be a cult classic.

John is saying that it is not a 10/10 as if I was saying it was... I was agreeing with all his points, other than the fact that I had ever claimed it to be 10/10 ... and thus his 5/10 was a little harsh (to make a point).

I stand by that... only time will tell.

However, you thought In time was an 'Easy Watch' - I can't wait for the rest of CS to go see that movie so you can rage quit over your conclusion.

P.S. does anyone know where I can get a scorpion jacket from and some selima optique aviators?

I'm going to dress up as the guy out of Drive and then drive up to Scotland while listening to the soundtrack and take Hammer for a drive along the river in the sunlight while we listen to this track
