Cheers they always get good comments, although some struggle to understand why the tyres are stretched on the rears. Always get funny comments from mates in work.
The car is a lot more lively with the budget tyres on, which is weird as the avon zz3's get a good write up on the z4 forum.
Thinking about buying some vredesteins for the 18'' rears and sticking them on for the winter months. Would be the sensible choice I guess.
RCL key is fixed. No coding required. Nice cheap £4 fix

So after the focus was crashed into and the other party admitted fault, we went ahead and traded it in for a fiesta. Lovely little motors that handle rather well. Engines only a 1.25 82ps but plenty for the missus.
Straight away, I decided that I hate orange indicator bulbs in clear lenses, so they came out today and chrome ones were put in. Rears were a ballache as the whole unit needs to be removed.
Before:
After:
Then onto the fronts:
Doesn't look much, but when you next see a fiesta on the road, you'll realise how much the orange reflection sticks out, especially on white ones.

Deffo. Unsure why it's done that. Only happened after I started washing the cars on the driveway, rather than pavement.
Mind you, green is nicer than black pikey tarmac.

You'll probably find it when you next clean up the interior. Found a few quid and some screws under my seats

Got a few pics of the car earlier. This is most likely the cleanest it'll be for a good 4-5 months now didn't do the roof, it's covered in fluff.
These pictures make me want a Z4 looks lovely

I found a quid actually haha. I lost one of the screws when doing the dash too, I had it my hand then it was gone :S
I'll take the seats out in summer and clean the car properly, it's satisfying hoovering the car out knowing there nowhere with dirt still hiding. I'm sad

Cars dead now I need to drive around in a pink fiesta for a few days
My own fault. Kept getting a red battery light on the dash last winter (although it didn't struggle to start). Couple of days last week when it was cold, it started slowly dieing and after working this morning it just about started.
Just tried to start it on my drive and nothing tbf the bmw battery is 5.5 years old.

it's already been drained twice before due to me leaving the radio on, so that probably didn't help it

FML! Replaced the battery in the fucking dark and car still won't start!
All the electrics work fine, the lights are bright etc. When I go to turn the engine on though, it's just clicks once.
Internet seems to think it's the starter motor. Would the flat battery cause that? The old battery needed replacing, but it seems odd that the starter motor could now potentially be buggered.
