The Grey 2/10 started good, all over slow film, absolutely shitty ending, I want 2 hours of my life back.
See, my girlfriend had a similar (slightly less harsh) view. It was far deeper than the all action film I was expecting but it was shot really well and I still found it gripping and entertaining.
Don't get me wrong, it was shot really well, and there was a few jump out of my seat moments, but for the most part I genuinely found it boring.

Seeing as the snow ruined my plans tonight I ended up watching Warrior, was well pissed off with it at the start as everyone seems to whisper (had tv on 20 vol instead of 6-8), however it's quite a good film. I'd say about 6-7/10, bit too long IMO
Also watched Cars 2 last night, like a James Bond film, 8/10. And then watched Rambo first blood part 1 for the first time, 7/10

Jake, mate calm down

Shawshank brilliant film, but there was no scene that hadnt been done before.
Rockies all great, but the same story, underdog goes up against champ, goes up against champ again, goes up against a real bad mother fucker (underdog again), goes up against big mother fucking russian.
Predator, awesome film. But 5men emptying their guns into a forest aint all that.
Star Wars, might let you have that one. that's pretty epic.
Raiders, hmm the scene with the sun and the staff is pretty cool.
I would say the invisible bridge in last crusade is better...
Forrest Gump was a good movie, but it was a parody of everything that preceded it.

im not saying that. Im saying that is one of the best scenes. not a movie.
I mean apart from andy coming out of the tunnel in the rain, having a drink on the rooftop, listening to classical music and locking the door. and when the warden pulls down the poster to reveal the escape route. they're all good scenes to make a great film.
Have you seen office space?
