DannyB yeah I had considered maybe a silver or a nice anthracite/grey colour . I'd like the cage to stand out though that's the problem , silver is a bit tame .

Ohh I like that Danny !! Looks smart ill bear it in mind . However I am swaying towards red for a change .

Went out and got a few new photos today , since ive machine polished it its had 2 coats of wax . Then yesterday I gave it its normal wash and quick detail . Still so happy with the amount if correction I managed . Anyway heres some photos .

The car also now has 12 months MOT , passed with no advisories , and also 6 months tax . Cage and other bits are being painted this week so all being well I can go and pick them up and get them fitted next Saturday .

Also I should have the Brakes on soon and ive decided I want the front end a touch lower so im going to be removing the helper springs . I know a lot of people frown upon it but IMO its not all that bad .

Will update next weekend once the cage and bits are back in .

Haha well it is used for paint protection too

I know someone with an mx5 that the spoiler always use to rub through the paint. Laminex under the spoiler and it doesn't even scratch it now. Touch shit that, wouldn't like to get in a fight with it

Looks awesome

As said by beetlegav bit lower on the front, 10mm or so, also remove SRI badges and corsasport stickers and maybe a very light tint on the plates would look sweet

Cheers ! Yeah I'm only going for another 10mm I think . I'll see when it comes to setting the coilovers up as to what looks best . SRi badges and corsasport stickers are staying . I'll be taking the "cleanfreak" one off soon though .

Looks lovely. Only silly criticism would be the finish on the wheels. Is that powdercoat ?

Ahh Jon tell me about it the finish is shocking and it really bugs me . Ideally I want them redoing but I can't justify the price when I'll probably change wheels as soon as the engine gets done !

Basically when I phoned the place up I said I wanted the shiniest black possible . So what they suggested was shot blasting and acid dipping them . Then powder coat priming them . Then wet spray , then powder coat lacquer ! So I said go for it . Not been happy with them since I picked them up
