Yeah just a red gel over the flash. First time using that technique.
They're relatively famous. They tour all over the world. They won BBC's "When Will I Be Famous".

They're playing in Stonehaven at Hogmanay so they came here for a little photoshoot and interview with STV.

They do a mix between rock and bagpipes and do covers.

Thanks. They're lit using my 430EXII on a light stand off to the side. Fired using Yongnuo RF602 and RF600TX trigger and receiver.

Yeah, that is a bride. She was obviously there for a post-wedding shoot.

I like that shot. Although I think you should lighten the lower half to show some detail on his trousers so he didn't look like a floating torso with shoes. Either that or crop it below his hands.

i know what you mean, when i was originally editing it there was plenty of detail in the legs, but on my iPad it looked really dark around there. I'm on my work machine it looks dark. There was the same discussion on TP about it, some could see the detail but some couldn't looks like i might need some monitor calibration!

I'm on a calibrated Mac and I can see detail on his left leg and a very very faint outline on the right.

Took this through the viewfinder of my wife's telescope. Out of quite a few shots this was the only one even remotely sharp.
