well amazing update time. this weekend is a 1/4mile weekend at kirkbride airfiled which is about 10 miles away. so i kinda want to go and kick crap out my car. problem being is im quite ill. so im in discussions with my mate slick about him driving it. did a bit of modding aswell earlier. well i didnt really. i just sat there dazed and confused.
legendary man that is the slick.
delightful rear carbon cards fitted. look grand. i was shaking badly trying to opperate the drill. was funny.
then slick decided to get creative with a pen
so it got masking tape attached to the battery box
FTW indeed.
so ive got/had a bad case of the flu. dont think its the pig stuff. im suffering a lot of migranes, and im on pescription tablets for that, and also some tremazipam stuff for my lack of sleep. leaving me a bit dazed really. i dont know whats going on, slurring words like im drunk as hell. infact this has taken me ages to type. been off work all week as im a driver. do about 300 miles a day delivering. so not really capable of doing that.
unsure if i will be able to do the 1/4 mile this weekend. will see though. so maybe, i might get my mate slick, pictured above, to drive it for me. he has drove the car once before for about 5 mins.
thoughts? shall i risk it in a dazed and confused maner? or let my mate drive it?

yeah its fucked me up a bit this really. pain killers for headache, then this sleeping pills making me feel very strange. oh well. im going to stop taking them today see if im ok tomorrow. will have a few goes, but if i aint right will be the slick driving my car all day. i bet the fucker gets the first ever 11 second run in it.
in other news the jdm escort and adams supercharged throttle bodied k series in his sierra are all running. the brakes turned up for t he escort today. im going to get a lift through later with slick and have a spy see if anything can give a hand with. pictures of course ken.

think he is about 4-5 stone lighter than me so yes. although i have experience of gears and when to change and how long to hold it in gears when its spinning so it doesnt bog down in next gear etc etc. so hopefully he wont get quicker than a 13
bet he fuckin does get an 11 though

saving for a lot of things really. roll cage is next on list. then fuel set up over winter when car is off the road perhaps.

drive it yourself barnes its not like being on the motorway where you can fall asleep is it. I might even possibly make the trip up if i can get some new tires on the car as im down to canvas on the front 2. You dont fancy some slicks do you

been a bit of a late night. went down to therolling road at about half 9 as they were playing about with adams sierra.

cant actually remember what power it got to. was making about 180bhp at 6k revs on 0.3bar though last i remember. quality.
gave it some ken aswell.
so the race was on to get that and jdm's mk1 escort v6 running and driving ready for 1st and 2nd of august drag days at the air field in kirkbride. sadly, compbrake let johnathan down as the brakes he ordered were not correct. gutted and angry to say the least.

it was fairly going to get ran up the strip as it was. basically only really the body work to get sorted and paint really. no brakes means no run. real shame. everything else finished, moves etc wired up. let doen by compbrake so not mapped and one annoyed jdm dyno man. gutted for him
alanvtec also went home and brought flasks of hot water to make tea and coffee
very kind of him. well, he does only live about 1 minute away. still, the thought that counts.
shame about the mk1. be cool to see the sierra go atleast. so thats it till tomorrow when its some drag racing time. hopefully have some updates about parts ive blown to pieces, or that my mate slick who is driving it has run quicker times than i can.
