Yea I was gonna buy some guns and that to do it my self and a mate. But for what it's worth I'm getting it done properly. After a while with cans it will just go dull and have no shine to it

probs said it in your thread before about 10 times as iv said in in everyone who has a silver one but, pound store do a 'alloy wheel silver' which is identical to star silver almost. if you really take your time prepping and shit it'l be good enough. sorry to all the pro painters as i know you'll all disagree, iv worked in a body shop before
bad crack doing it in the cold though.

i do a bit of cutting, measuring and welding for the local stock car champs and the boss has been welding for years and years, he swears by the stuff. its an aerosol spray that stops all the spatter/snots of weld going all over the place of the area your welding. not really needed unless your a fussy git if im honest and unsure of the price of the stuff

not too sure dude, we normally use it on bare metal stock chassis... they dont get sent off for powder coating til there all done so i dunno how it reacts with paint tbh

I've just ordered some goodies of the Bay :

Wiring loom tape
Chassis plate strengthening kit
D/S custom mount

Still waiting though for my 1.2 to sell,once I've got money I'll get straight up and get the 2.0.

Update 1/1/2012

Little update,went to pick a engine stand up today off Shaun. Got back home and built it up.





Can't wait to get engine in air and start work on it.

Also received my loom tape and started off by doing the hids. I'm going to be mounting them on the chassis somewhere so they can't be seen but i just wanted to make the wires look neat.



My chassis arm mount came today aswell but it's need a rub down and spraying. Will do abit more to the bay this week and i'll get it fitted.
