Rosberg booed again
Anyone else getting sick of the commentators being so dismissive of the booing? The fans are the reason they have a job, they pay a lot of money to watch and should be able to express themselves.

Missed Rosbergs error but sky suggesting that it was deliberate and pre meditated to make up for Spa

FFS my stream cut out for the podium, well just got it back in time for Lewis and Nico attempting some camera bromance.
Been looking forward to the booing all morning

Oh while you're chatting, tell him he reached new lows today. His commentary was DIRE on the first few laps.
On my grainy streams, I rely in decent commentary particularly on the starts and I thought Nico was 4 places back thanks to Crofty - but even I noticed a McLaren right at the front which Crofty completely missed.

Bottas & Ricciardo were great today.
Good win for Hamilton, he would have caught Rosberg easily without his mistake (as he'd knocked enough time off beforehand) so it was a bit of a shame that his easy overtake into P1 wasn't a result from some wheel-to-wheel racing.

Of course he has, of course. Nico is cool and relaxed, has a massive lead and has him totally rattled and on the ropes.
piss off, dick raper.

Incredible race from Lewis, despite more issues with his Friday car.
Had to laugh at Nico bailing out of T1 twice he must not realise he's German, not English!

Oh and one more thing. Loving how Lewis made his engineer look a bit of a knobber!
''you need to leave a 2-2.5 second gap to Nico, the race will be at the end''... Yeah right
So glad he ignored him. Rosberg cracked and Lewis kept calm.

I don't agree with the booing, as Lewis said not sportsmanlike.
He made a good tactical desicion from his seat, knew the tyres where good and knew it was now or never. Great call.

Overall good race - lots of overtaking all over the place.
Hamilton luck that Rosberg screwed up but he is deserving of some luck as IMO even if Hamilton had caught him I'm not sure there was enough between them to get over the detriment of following the car infront closely.
I wish run-offs were a lot more punishing. It should cost 4-5 seconds if you go off not the 2ish that Rosberg lost.

Some stats.
Lewis has now won 6 GP this year, that's tied with 2008 and his WDC year.
Monza is now one of 5 circuits in which Lewis has won multiple races.
Over the last 6 races, both LH & NR have scored 98 points each. This despite Nico starting 3, 1, 1, 1, 1, 2 on the grid and Lewis starting 9, 6, 20, 22, 2, 1 on the grid.
If the remaining races are Mercedes 1-2, Nico only needs to win two "regular" races or Abu Dhabi (double points) to take the WDC.
That scenario is optimistic, I wouldn't bet against any more Merc DNFs this year.

Great race and good win for Lewis who was the better driver all weekend
Wolfs face when Lewis took the lead gave an insight for me into the team, he looked so happy Lewis had got the lead suggesting Lewis had more of a team backing
Either way great race and ric, Perez and bottas really where outstanding today

Or it could just be sheer relief that the inevitable lead-swap happened without them being within 10yards of each other on track?

I did enjoy that grin from Toto. He looked very happy all weekend tbh.
I personally think that Lewis would've caught and passed Rosberg either way. The williams passed other mercedes powered cars with ease (with DRS).

Very interesting, the top teams in F1 just will not budge on a cost cap so its always going to end up this way. Sad if you ask me.

Biggest load of shite I've ever heard As if Nico would agree to that. Its a simple as Nico cracking under pressure and if i were Toto I'd have smiled too knowing they wouldnt be going wheel to wheel.

Dont have any issues with boo's tbh, good guys and bad guys make sport and its good to see the fans emotion as its one of the sports you rarely get to gauge fan reaction. I do take issue with commentators basically silencing people who want to boo.
They need to realise without the fans,(who by the way have paid hundreds if not thousands of pounds to be there) there is no sport. They are entitled to boo, cheer, sing, whatever. It seems they just want people to show up, clap and fuck off. This isnt North Korea. Its up to Rosberg to make them like him again and im sure hes not too upset with his championship lead and £10m a year odd contract.
F1 needs to stop being so po faced and embrace the fans views, whatever they are. Instead of shouting the boos down, maybe ask why they are doing it.

Total conspiracy, even Stewart believes so. Rosberg was clearly told before the race to hand victory to the moaning one.

Sure. Of course if that was the case, then a much easier way of doing it would be in the pits with one guy taking a while to the press the button on his gun to do up the wheel nut.
But no, we'll go with the much harder and riskier version of just lock your wheels up mate, cause a flat spot and risk going off.
