Colour coding suggests you are trying to cover up the grommet, you should be proud of the grommet and have it unmodified. Plus paint adds weight

Must admit, looking over the cars in this thread, it looks a lot better than I thought it would. Nice bit of weight saving too with the wiper/motor swapped for a 1g grommet

TBH the best gromet picture i have ever seen is that white corsa with semi-smooth boot and a gromet (cant remember your username sorry)
