everyone thinks 1.2 16v are poo. a bolt on turbo job done by some kid on a 1.2 8v got 131odd brake. so why is it so insane that the z12xe cannot do it? i cant guess rr figures, but the z12xe/xep engines are a strong engine. we havent had a single warranty claim for engines themselves-yes the management is shit but the engines are strong-a japanese design by suzuki. hence why they are actually pretty good. we've had corsa c's in work b4 now where a coolant hose has bost, pissed coolant out everywhere and the engines have carried on going until customer one day checks under bonnet. the later family xe engines are strong.

come on guys...think about it. in reality its do-able to get the claimed output.

one day people laughed when u said u could get an xe in a corsa. people laughed at the thought of twin engined cars!! now theyre everywhere.

thats the point exactly. i need to buy you a beer

I don't know of ANY tuner who offers a refund policy for not meeting power figures.

not protecting them at all, what I am protecting is the need to be different and modifying is not all about weighing up your balls and proving who has the larger

muppet, obviously main dealers dont do things like fit 20xe's with a warranty, or turbo upgrades, that'd be stupid buisness for a main dealer. although i have heard that now the monaro vxr500 is out, we are supposidly looking into doing a supercharger upgrade for normal vxr's which could be cool! as for all the upgrades ur talkin about, vauxhall could do things like that, in the special performance centres somewhere down south (although not sure), and in all the talking about different things, ive forgotten bout what we were arguing about, no hard feelings :-)

supercharger upgrade to the gen3 v8 takes about 4 hours-that really is bolt on. hardest job is changing crank pulley belt.

Too long thread, Summary anyone?

Engine looks pretty nifty though, i've always wanted to do a high powered 1.2 16v. Would'nt like to fork out £3,000 though,
