Not bad at all. What do the stages involve Paul? Chip, charger pulleys?
Currently me and my dad are deciding whether to put a 9A with carbs & new cams or G60 in our cabrio.

Probably the best engine for the mk1 too.

stages are just larger ports on the charger.you can get them spooling quicker and loose all the lag with a 68mm pulley and sns chip but then you have to get the charger serviced more often at £400 a pop aint cheap.
9a on carbs absolutely fly my mate had one in his cabby.

Todays progress dropped the engine out.
Moved the fuelines across to the drivers side.
And then dropped the G60 engine back in.also changed all the linkage bushs while the engine was out.
few of the intercooler sat in place it's a tight fit in there

well wiring loom is now ready to go in.
Pretty easy to do as half the loom you don't need
found a wicked guide which was so easy to follow.
and the big pile of left over wires
so after all the choping you are left with 5 wires that connects the whole engine loom to the mk1 loom.

Got my manifold the other day so gave it to Fin(big thanks mate)so he could weld me a lambda plug in.
It's all sat in the car now but i need to join the two together with some flexi pipe.
Also got all my intercooler pipework sorted out and have got an RSR outlet for the charger
just the wiring to connect and hopefully she will fire up(fingers crossed)

caused me so many problems recently and i need a reliable car,
wheel bearing fully collapsed couple of weeks ago and for some reason it went yesterday again.
really duno what i did wrong as it all seemed fine just the nut was very loose, i even checked it a couple of days after i did it.
SO had to replace stub axle again and bearing again.
gona get it checked out by a profesional next week.
be painting it next week then sell it and buy another car, possibly a corsa c.
