The same as 4 stroke, the engine uses atmospheric pressure and the depression caused by the piston dropping in the bore. They are fitted with a carburettor btw.

When the piston goes down, (by the explosion on the top) it compresses the fuel/air, the port opens and is forced into the chamber. The piston rises, compresses, then gets ingited, The piston goes down, exhaust gas leaves.
