ah this is what someone said
quote: I can't say enough how different the cars feel with the controller vs. the MS wheel. I felt that with the controller it was way too easy to control oversteer by countersteering. With the wheel the cars felt much more realistic and harder to "catch" in a slide. This may be due to the fact that it is easier and quicker to react with the controller, but it feels more different than that.

Agree with that, suppose its what you get used to. I'm impressed though, can't wait for the full game

Think im going to have to get the wheel, everytime i brake i have cars slam in to the back of me, or i dont tap it enough and just understeer / lock up and slide off the track

Once im used to it I think it will be amazing.
I found the acura type R thing stupidly easy to drive. Yet with the dodge ST4 it would understeer more when the boost kicked in on a corner. Pretty damn realistic if you ask me!
Obviously the game will take on a whole new dimension once the full game is here, once you can mod a car the game will be completely different.
All in all I am pleased. But its still ages till the real version

yeah i think its wicked, especially in the R class cars, that you cant floor it til your pretty much in a straight line again else youl just drift out, this is an extremely realistic game, and the arcaders out there will be put off immediatly by the game.
it takes a lot of patience to get used to it, its by no means a pick up and play game.

bear in mind they are standard cars, so wont have much about them, once you change the exhaust etc sound different.
try the ford gt40 for excellent engine/supercharger sound.
and the porsche for nice turbo whistle.
