You said you'd win a cup - Notably Carling or UEFA ( ), and you never.

You say you'll finish for next season as you were only a few points off fourth - Yes, thats how the table works, quite often theres only a few points in it.

You won't finish 4th next season and you know you won't. Arsenal and Liverpool won't slip up. If you thought they would you would accept all these bets and be smug in the knowledge that your going to make a decent amount of money next May.

As it happened my normally un-accurate arm departed me, and I hit Mickey square on the side of the face. He wasny happy, but I was. We fel the battle was won, though the war continues.

So in answer to your question Dave, yes.

I knew he wouldn't take the bet. It's not hard is it. The person he decides to take the bet with paypals the money to a 3rd party who is trustworthy and they hang on to it until the end of the season ensuring there is no squabbling.

Also we onc managed to make one of the lads go home in a strop from a night out because we told him that the UEFA cup was a plastic trophy Spurs fans don't react well to banter (or the truth).
