na, i took a deposit which the lad has lost due to not checking his insurance.

remember this car is a 1998cc on the log book.

NU03 YGN is registered as a Vauxhall Vectra 1.8 SXi 16V. Check for yourselves. Maybe the original plate is now not available and will come with a new one. Also 7OMM isn't recognised either.

would you like a picture of the logbook?...

the plate has been off the car for a while and i was insured on the motor with that plate for a month or so?...

i understand that.

when you apply to put your registration onto a vechicle you are sent a logbook with your private reg on it to show it corresponds with the car (in my case 7 OMM) then when you take the registration back off the car they send you out a new log book with the vechicles new registration number and a new tax disc to match. it isn't until you have recived this logbook and taxdisc you can removed you p/plate and place a normal one on the car.

this is the new log book they send out about 2 month ago when i took off the reg

i will also ring the DVLA on monday incase there has ben any sort of mistake withmy cars or another persons car registration details.

No offence, i just looked on the Autotraders home page and they have a car checker. Thats where i got the info from.

Anyway good luck with your sale. Really nice car.

Could be beacuse the log says NU03 YJN and the guy checked NU03 YGN
