Nope 4th coat. I now think im a painter and trying to scope out some shit to paint.

Well went upto the bodyshop today with cash to pay the guy, expecting the car to be getting dropped off finished at my house on monday. Just to find its not painted, well not even in primer yet! So looks like PVS will be a no no for me.

I wouldn't be too disheartened, better done right than rushed. PVS would have been nice way the anniversary, but Billing should see a good turn out aswell if you were heading to that.

paint shops are all the same , it took them 6 months to paint my last corsa when a said to them just fit it in between jobs aye well they did that for sure keep the chin up will be worth it in the end

Going back up tomorow to see what the crack is with paint.
Got some more parts from Luxemborg today, 3 month iv been waiting on them. Great fun trying to source genuine vauxhall nova parts :roll:

New window surrounds


Window rails as my original ones had rusted


And im sure that anyone that knows novas will appreciate how rare these are, genuine GM b pillar vinyls :shock:



Ten differant strips of vinyl, all with there own part numbers. Looks like fun putting them on

Also some roose hoses from chris astley, boost hoses will get made up soon.

before you fit them get them copied by a grpahics shop, and make lots of cash in reproductions

Well finally got the car back from paint today! More than happy with the finish.






The vinyl has been taking off though, it wouldnt go on right with it being to old. The enging is also mounted in place, pics of that to follow!

Couple of pics from today after it was dropped of, engine in just the rest to do 8O
