Nope! He drives it daily, and the reason i know this is because he's a mate of mine and only lives a mile down the road

bought 4 brand new bridgestone potenzas today...
165/50/15s fitted to my front 7x15s:
epic fail on the rear 8x15s. no one seems to be able to fit them...
bring on 175/185s or ghetto tyre fitting.

even the 'proper' tyre fitters can't do it... brand new bridgestones don't have much 'give' in them
aerosol + lighter method is worth a go tho...

i was told that because my new wheels are 2pc the lips are hard to stretch over... apparently this doesn't happen with banded steels or 1pc wide wheels because of their larger lips...
i'm in talks with jimmy about this... i may try this myself... who dares wins and all that

thanks for the comments! i'm pleased with how it's looking after having a shit black bonnet for so long.
SA rears are sold so i'll be fitting new new lights very soon
the new wheels excite me in ways a wheel really shouldn't, but i'm not selling the ronals any time soon so i can just chop and change

dude! i took your advice and to no avail... lots of flames and lots of fun... but no tyre stretch.
i am getting 185/45s in the mean time, but i still have 2 brand spanking new 165s sitting here ready for my road trip to yours in the spring...
i haven't given up on the dream just yet... just on the back burner...
